Charles Goddard
Charles Goddard is a solicitor with over 20 years' experience of advising on the corporate tax aspects of a wide range of corporate and financial transactions. Charles’ practice covers advice on mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures, real estate structures, financings (including asset-based deals) and management incentives. Charles also advises regularly on the SDLT treatment of residential property transactions.
He has been recommended by both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners ("an excellent deal adviser"). Prior to joining Rosetta Tax, he was a partner in the Corporate Tax team of Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP and qualified at Slaughter and May. He is the author of the Losses chapter in Tolleys Tax Planning and writes regularly for other tax industry publications.
